Brenda Drake

Brenda Burris Drake began her yoga practice over 30 years ago with her first yoga class during her freshman year in college. She received her certification in Vinyasa Flow with Stephanie Keach. She has attended classes with excellent teachers including Seane Corn, Rodney Yee, Max Strom, Lindsay Murrary-Kashoid, and Liz and Brian Delaney. She loves deepening her knowledge of yoga through practice and loves to share her knowledge with her students.
Craig Metcalf

Craig Metcalf, RYT is a Greenville native and a graduate of North Main Yoga’s 230 Hour teacher training program. He teaches meditation and yoga across the Upstate and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance.
While Craig leads his students to increased bodily strength and flexibility, he is also a firm believer in yoga’s ability to lead practitioners to a more peaceful and relaxed mind. His teaching style reflects that belief. Relaxation through deep breathing and meditation techniques and are strong elements of Craig’s classes. Students who attend his classes are treated to a soothing yoga experience which emphasizes stress-reduction, elimination of negative states of mind, a more peaceful day and a better night’s sleep. (Craig’s classes are appropriate for all student levels.)
Athena Seay

Athena received her teacher certification over 5 years ago and has taught over 1000 classes since! She is inspired by her students’ energy and willingness to learn.
Athena has learned from many masters including Dharma Mittra, Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea, and Sean Corn. Athena is a certified Pre/Post Natal teacher and also teaches, a mix of hatha, ashtanga, and kundalini yoga at all levels, from beginner to advanced. She is presently studying to receive her 230hr RYT from Asheville Yoga Center as she continues on her yoga journey.
Michele O’Neal

Michele O’Neal began her yoga journey in January 2008. She studies under Karen Noonan at Yoganize learning a unique combination of yoga, pilates, and yoga therapy. Michele believes each student is an individual, striving to nurture and guide students through their yoga class with honor.
With a background in Psychology and Sociology she recognizes the benefits of a regular yoga practice and the way that it relates to wellness.
Michele’s gentle and nurturing approach to her students is uplifting.
Cassie Amstuz

Cassie graduated from At One Yoga (Scottsdale, AZ), www.atoneyoga.com in April 2008, after 7 years of a home practice. Cassie provides an encouraging, accepting, yet challenging class for all levels of practice. Adjustments are abundant in Cassie’s classes and each student can choose to receive them or not. Her music is always inspiring and ranges from Sanskrit to Reggae n Hip Hop. Cassie encourages students to be fully joyful where they are, yet to be driven to deepen their yoga practice on and off the mat.
Cassie is a lifelong student (aka: a nerd) currently completing her certification in massage therapy. She has a BS in Marketing from Clemson and has been accepted into USC Upstate’s nursing program Fall 2011. She also completed Katherine Roberts, Yoga for Golfers www.krtotalfitness.com, and is a 200 hour RYT through Yoga Alliance. Additionally, she enjoys creating all-natural aromatherapy concoctions for everyday uses.

Karen Noonan (E-RYT 500)

Karen Noonan is the owner and sole member of Yoganize LLC.
Karen is registered as an Experienced Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500), a qualified Physical Educationist with certifications in Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Pilates , Aqua, FITCO (ACE equivalent), prescriptive back care, REIKI, Touch for Health and has achieved her Black Belt in the ‘Tang Soo Do’ style of martial arts. Karen is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
Karen has been studying and teaching movement and yoga since 1984, in South Africa and the USA. Her background in Physical Education, participation in various individual and team sports; gymnastics, karate, swimming and continued studies in Kinesiology, Anatomy and Physiology, Yoga, Pilates and Yoga Therapy are the reason behind the prescriptive nature of Karen’s yogic practice and teaching style. She owned a fitness studio in South Africa for 7 years.
Karen received her Yoga Therapy certification with distinction, in India.
Joan Craig

My goals as your teacher and coach are to create a safe and harmonious environment, teach you basic yoga and body movement skills you can practice on your own and motivate and inspire you to make healthy choices that will enrich your life.
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT 200 level and have been teaching yoga since 2005. I am working towards a 500-hour certification at Lighten Up Yoga in Asheville, NC. I am also a certified AFAA fitness instructor, ACSM personal trainer, and Wellcoaches wellness coach.
I live in Greer, SC, with my husband Monty Craig and our dog Julio. We are blessed to be surrounded by family and friends.
Lynn Harmon

Lynn Harmon, RYT started her yoga journey as a home based practice shortly after moving to the Greenville area from St. Petersburg, Florida in 2006.
Her commitment to her practice grew, and in 2010 she graduated from the teacher training program with Liz and Brian Delaney at North Main Yoga. Her philosophy and techniques are strongly influence by the teachings of Max Strom. Her Vinyasa Flow style classes are centered on the breath to focus the mind, calm the nervous system, and remain in the present moment.
Her meditation classes utilize many different approaches geared at creating inner space and clarity. She teaches techniques to quiet the mind and cultivate awareness, mindfulness, and concentration.
