Meditation is an approach to training the mind, similar to the way that fitness is an approach to training the body. But many meditation techniques exist — so how do you learn how to meditate? It takes time, patience and guidance, but the benefits to both mind and body, are incredible. Come and experience a few basic and easy techniques to get you started.
Facilitated by Karen Noonan (Ph.D.; E-RYT500; C-IAYT) - Experienced Yoga Teacher, Certified and experienced Yoga Therapist, Meditation and Yoga Nidra Facilitator, ex school-teacher and educator (yoga teacher trainer - RYS200). Over the past 36 years Karen has been involved with healing movement therapy for mind and body and has published a number of yoga DVDs, guided meditations and she has patented a unique yoga therapy mat.
