About the event
This is a journey to heart-center to reclaim our natural state....HAPPINESS! Enjoy and experience the benefit of regular daily yoga, meditation and Yoga Nidra practices specifically designed for the purpose of releasing tension and stress, while moving towards the healing of body, mind and spirit. You will learn tools to deal with stress, while focusing on yourself and your own needs and spending quality time wining and dining in some of our states finest restaurants - or you may simply choose to enjoy some quiet alone-time...the choice is yours...this is YOUR personal healing 'journey to self.'
The condo we will be visiting is two blocks from the center of downtown Charleston, so everything is within walking distance and there are three off-street parkings available - plan on car-pooling if at all possible or advise Karen (karen@yoganize.com) regarding your plans.
Karen Noonan is an experienced yoga and meditation teacher (E-RYT500) and certified Yoga Therapist as well as a Therapeutic Life Coach, certified Yoga Nidra facilitator and certified Spiritual Teacher. She has been a healer and educator for 34 years and is a Yoga Teacher Trainer through Yoga Alliance (RYS200 Hours). Karen has published a number of healing yoga and movement DVD's and guided meditations and she has also invented and patented a unique yoga mat (Yoganize Cross Mat) which is thicker than most mats, free of toxins and phylates and which has been created specifically for a quality home practice. This mat is ideal for practice outdoors, on stone, brick, grass or sand.

* If you are traveling by plane and wish to use a yoga mat, please let Karen know to bring an extra one for you.

Introduction talk followed by Yoga Nidra practice

Discussion on Happiness with focus on how to manage Stress, followed by Yoga practice and topped off with
Yoga Nidra
12.00 pm - 5.00pm
Free time to stay in and read/meditate/BE, visit one of Charleston's many beautiful beaches or explore Charleston's downtown restaurants and shopping experiences, either together as a group, with your personal party or alone - this is YOUR time.
5.00pm - 7.00pm
Talk followed by Yoga Nidra
7pm ------> Free time - dinner in one of Charleston's finest restaurants (together as a group or in your personal party) or feel free to use the kitchen to create your own meal.
Sunday February 10th
8.00am - 9.00am
Breakfast and coffee/tea (provided)
9.30am - 11.30 am/12pm
Discussion on Happiness and Stress-Reduction, followed by Yoga practice and Yoga Nidra

Free time to explore Charleston's many beautiful beaches or downtown restaurants and shopping experiences, either together as a group, with your personal party or alone - this is YOUR time.
Depart at your convenience and feel free to stay one last bonus night, if you have time :) No afternoon or evening classes.
Final departure is Monday by 11 am.
